Among the voluntary prayers whose virtue Islam has mentioned, and it is better for the one who performs it and zakat on all parts of his body, what is this prayer?
Now we will get acquainted with it through the following elements:
Prayer and its virtues:
The origin of the article pray the fourfold: supplication, he prayed: he prayed, and supplication in Islam is considered the basis of all acts of worship; Because it is a monologue with the Creator, and an acknowledgment of His grace and ability, it is a symbol of the servant’s weakness, his lack of resourcefulness, and his acknowledgment of the true idol who has prepared for him the pleasures of life and subjected him to life on it.
Prayer, then, in the sense of supplication, is an essential worship that God Almighty is angry with by abandoning it, as abandoning his monologue is evidence of the servant’s denial of the countless blessings that its Creator has subjected to him.
Prayer has other meanings, including: devotion to God Almighty by performing a specific system of movements, signs, Qur’anic recitations and praises with a specific system, and according to certain conditions followed by other virtues that increase the reward of the worshiper if he performs them. Virtues, the greatest of all, are monotheism with sincerity and sincerity, then prayer, remembrance and recitation of the Qur’an.
The many benefits of prayer in general, whether obligatory or otherwise, vary, but before listing these benefits or some of them, we can remind you of some types of performance prayers that you as a believer can perform to increase all the credit and raise your reward and reward with the Lord of Glory, the Lord of the wilderness in the first and the hereafter and before them and what After them and what He wills, His greatness and power have reached no limits and no estimation except with His knowledge, He alone, Glory be to Him.
Types of prayers:
Benefits and virtues of prayer:
As for the virtue of prayer, including the Duha prayer as well, they are very many virtues, among which we will mention what we could list, such as:
Duha is the time period between the rising of the sun and the beginning of its rise in the sky to form the period of noon, i.e. after sunrise, and its beginning in which it is disliked to pray at the moment of sunrise and also at sunset.
God Almighty has sworn by Duha, and He named one of the Surahs of the Noble Qur’an with this name, which is Surat Ad-Duha. The Almighty said:
Duha prayer is a type of voluntary prayer and it is a confirmed supererogatory prayer that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, urged on its virtue, and although it is not an obligation, it has a great impact on the worshiper.
It was also called the Owabeen prayer. The site of Sheikh Imam Ibn Baz mentioned in one of his responses to a question about it: At the time of the forenoon rises, at that time there is the prayer, and it is a prayer called the Awabeen prayer. The Prophet – may God’s prayers and peace be upon him – said: Meaning, when the heat is intensified in the morning, that is, at the height of the day, an hour or two before the sun sets.
Perhaps you are wondering whether you will perform the obligatory prayers, then the supererogatory prayers, and the voluntary prayers. Where will you find sufficient time for work and life and enjoy the permissible and permissible joys of life?
The answer to this question falls under the matters of facilitating my Islam for Muslims and believers. God Almighty did not make this prayer an obligation, but rather a supererogatory, and distinguishes the obligatory from the supererogatory, because it sets a time that is binding on you, whatever your work or other obligations, and whatever their degree.
The supererogatory is not like that, and volunteering is also, you can perform it according to your ability, and adhering to it is one of the highest degrees of righteousness and piety, and this stems from the real enjoyment of the sweetness of faith and prayer.
But the Duha prayer differs from the supererogatory and other voluntary prayers in that it is specific to that period of time that God Almighty has sworn by, which is as we mentioned after sunrise until the sun rises in the period before noon.
The mind is preoccupied with worldly matters in it, and reminding you to pray and perform it without spending it or performing it at this time is a great advantage for the believers, but if the surrounding circumstances compel a person to stay and follow his duties such as helping a patient who is about to die, or extinguishing a fire or killing a poisonous animal, then you are not sinning by leaving it. An advantage increases when the worshiper is one of those who persevere in it and is also keen on its performance.
If that was the case, God Almighty would consider it for him as a performer, as he forbade it from a severe necessity and his intention was pure and sincere in performing it, and without that necessity he would have performed it. Likewise, mothers in their homes raise their children and take care of the affairs of the house. Those who prayed and maintained them would have an extra pay of their money, which is a way for them to prevent them. From falling into disobedience, whether verbal or physical, in her spare time.
Duha prayer is one of the voluntary worshiped by Allah, the Glory of God, provided that the obligatory duties are maintained first, and thus there is no excuse for someone who has free time at this time for fun, playing and blaming others.
It is more useful for the elderly to help them maintain other prayers and supererogatory prayers, especially when they have a lot of free time.
Importance of Duha prayer:
This prayer is named after Duha because of the period in which it is prayed, which is the rise of the day, and the word Duha is a noun, and from it the verb Duha and Duha.
It is also called the Awabeen prayer, and the importance of any prayer lies in achieving indispensable benefits for the human being religiously, physically and living.
In addition to what we mentioned before about the benefits of prayer, the Duha prayer has a special importance in terms of being equivalent to the amount of alms giving to every member of the human body and every joint as well.
Imagine with me how many charities you earn without paying a single penny, and even the benefits of charity and prayer together as well.
Perhaps you know that one of the reasons for wealth is the abundance of alms in secret and in public, with sincerity and sincerity for the sake of God, which will not be followed by slander or harm, nor hypocrisy or hatred, nor any of the morale of the world and bragging about it.
Charity in general may be material, moral or spiritual. The materialistic donation is the donation of in-kind things such as food, clothing, utensils, objects or money other than zakat, taxes, debts, rights and others.
Spirituality: smiling openly in the face of people, good manners, voluntary work and other things, spirituality, reciting and giving the Qur’an, fasting on behalf of a dead person, and so on, the two rak’ahs of Duha are equivalent to all of this in relation to your gratitude to God Almighty for your organs and your body.
